Redesignation of Ladder Companies

On January 1, 1997 the designations of all ladder companies in Cincinnati were changed to coincide with the engine companies with which they are quartered. This was done to eliminate confusion during dispatch, as well as to conform with the other fire departments in Hamilton County, where Cincinnati is located. Below are the original and new designations.
